Sarangani, where a bridge is needed for kids to go to schoolSarangani Funds for Little Kids is visiting Sofan Elementary School on December 18, 2014, says Ariel Lalisan. Any help you could share with us is welcome. Here are the activities that we will do there:

1) Distribution of school bags with school supplies and toys;
2) Tree-planting activity;
3) Storytelling and Interaction with students through games; and
4) Soup Kitchen

Sofan has 472 enrollees. We have already collected school supplies and toys, but we don’t have enough yet.

The school supplies that we are giving come packed in plastic envelope containing: 1 pad paper, 2 pencils, 1 sharpener, 1 eraser, 1 notebook, and 1 box of crayons (8 colors).
Contact us if you wish to be part of this endeavor.

As of now our partners include Alabel National Science High School Student Organizations (SSG, Junior Ecologist Ministers, Interact Club, Samahan ng mga Mag-aaral sa Filipino), Team Bundol Mountaineers, and X Photographers of the Philippines-GenSan.

We are doing this while our dream of building a bridge across the river has not yet been realized. But we are hopeful that one day the kids of Sofan will not have to face too much risks in order to go to school.

Merry Christmas, everyone!
