Comments by Doc Anton:

“Thank you FORBES ASIA for including me in the Asia’s 2016 Heroes of Philanthropy. I am humbled to be included in the list amongst the giants in philanthropy in our region. But the real honor belongs to all those those who turned their pity into compassion and joined us in ensuring no kid is left behind.

“In a country where opportunities are far in between, education is the only way to break the cycle of poverty in their family. Yellow Boat of Hope aims to fill the gaps with hope as we explore all means to make it easier for the kids to go, stay and finish school.

“Glory to God for the opportunity and privilege to serve.”

These words reflect the hearts of all Yellow Boat volunteers and recipients: “Congratulations Doc Anton Mari H. Lim! Mabuhay po kayo! 🙂  – from your YBH Cebu and Daanbantayan Family: You represent the very core values of the Filipino people, service, generosity and love for others!”
