Teach Anywhere

Teach Anywhere is an innovative educational program started in 2021that brings together various organizations to help students in remote areas learn at the right level in numeracy and literacy. The program is a product of the collaboration between AHA Learning Center and Yellow Boat of Hope Foundation, with the support of the Department of Education School Division Offices, Ateneo de Zamboanga University, and Bicol University. The program is based on the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach, an evidence-based method that has proven to help children develop basic reading and mathematics skills in just 50-60 days.

What started as a community-based initiative during COVID-19 lockdowns has now evolved into an in-school learning loss recovery program that addresses the challenges of reaching last-mile schools. With the coalition’s collective efforts, Teach Anywhere has become a powerful force in promoting education and providing students with the skills they need to succeed. The program’s success lies in its collaborative nature, with each organization bringing its unique strengths and resources to the table. By working together, the coalition has created a cost efficient program that is making a real difference in addressing learning loss in literacy and numeracy that will impact the lives of students if not addressed urgently.
