Yellow School Boat

Most of the communities part of the Yellow Boat of Hope Foundation are coastal and mangrove fishing communities. The students in these communities find it hard to go to school because rarely are there boats willing to take them to school for free. As a result, the students would rather skip school, stay home and help their parents out. And for those really eager to finish school, they risk their safety everyday crossing big bodies of water, just to get to school.

As advocates of educational empowerment, the Yellow Boat of Hope Foundation has dedicated itself in the mission to make sure that children in the Philippines can access quality education and finish schooling.

We donate yellow school boats to these communities to ensure that the students can get to school fast, safe and dry. The parents of these children can use the boats for their livelihood in between class hours, with the condition that they bring the kids to school and back, everyday.
